The owner's dream was to buy two old log houses and turn them into his new home. The challenge was the complex conectivity of the program, which included five bedrooms for his entire family and a large kitchen and dining room. We settled on the O typology which combines the old houses with two new structures for the kitchen and terrace. The enclosed character of the old is contrasted with the openness of the new in an attempt to find different atmospheres throughout the house.
